Lithofin KF Stain-Stop Water Based
Preliminary Remark
The solvent free Lithofin KF Stain-Stop has different chemical properties than solvent based impregnators. Therefore, the application method differs from other impregnators.
Description
A special product from the LITHOFIN-Range for fully vitrified ceramic and porcelain tiles (KF). Lithofin KF Stain-Stop is a water based nearly odourless impregnator consisting of a combination of high quality water and oil resistant components.
Properties
This special impregnator effectively protects the surface against staining by inhibiting the penetration of water, oil, grease and dirt. Lithofin KF Stain-Stop >W< does not affect the appearance of the surface.

Field of Use
For protecting all newly laid absorbent polished and unglazed porcelain tiles in order to facilitate maintenance. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Directions for Use
The surface to be treated must be completely clean and dry. Shake Lithofin KF Stain-Stop >W< well before use. Apply undiluted with a clean cloth or a lambs wool roller and ensure even distribution by wiping (rolling) over the surface several times. For best results, treat the surface in sections of approx. 15m² at a time. After 10 to 20 minutes, completely remove any surface residues with a squeegee or with a dry cloth.
Attention! the liquid product must sink into the stone. Immediately wipe off puddles and drips. Do not allow the product to dry on the surface. Carefully remove all residues and check against back light.
Please Note: impregnators are not suitable for all porcelain tiles. Always try the product in an inconspicuous area prior to use. Protect glass, varnished surfaces, plastics, etc. against splashes.
Drying Time: the full effect will be achieved after 48 hours. Keep the surface free of water and oil during this time.
Application Temperature: 10°C to 25°C.
Coverage: up to 50m² per litre, depending on the absorbency of the surface.
Durability
Up to to four years depending on the type and use of the treated material. The product is UV resistant and does not yellow.
Storage
Keep closed, cool and dry. Frost-free. Shelf life of up to 3 years. Open containers should be used quickly.
Environmental Protection
The contained surfactants are biologically degradable according to EU-regulations. Does not contain any solvents.
Disposal: containers are made of environmentally friendly polyethylene (PE). Clean containers can be recycled through collection systems.

General Information: keep out of the reach of children. Treated surfaces present no health hazard once dry.
First Aid Procedures: remove contaminated soaked clothing immediately. In case of inhalation take in fresh air. In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Do not induce vomiting. If swallowed by mistake drink plenty of water and seek medical treatment.
Emergency Procedures: in case of spill or other release, take up with absorbent material (e.g. sand, sawdust, general-purpose binder). Ensure adequate ventilation. Product does not burn, fire-extinguishing activities according to surrounding.
