BLUESTONE INSTALLATION TIPS
(MOISTURE SENSITIVE PRODUCT)
Due to the natural porosity characteristics of some natural stone and the availability of many different adhesives in the market, for the best result in the installation of blue stone, we highly recommend to butter adhesive on the full rear face of each tile and minimize the amount of adhesive used by screeding the substrate to its maximum possible and making use of a smaller notched trowel.
Use of fast curing adhesive and sealing the tile before installation are also highly recommended.
These will all help to minimise the possibility of any substances emigrating to the face surface of the stone – If in doubt, please contact your local adhesive supplier for the best suitable product before installation.
